Ownership without the overhead.
The work between "I want to go" and wheels-up is our responsibility. Here's what full-service management covers — and how it feels to be on the right side of it.
Clean, safe, documented, stocked — and managed before the trip is ever requested.
That's the standard we work toward on every Gateway Jets aircraft, whether it flies that day or not. Owners notice the difference in the small things: a comfortable cabin waiting when they arrive, preferred items already on board, and a familiar crew that knows the passengers, the aircraft, and how they like to travel.
We built Gateway Jets from the perspective of pilots and aircraft owners, and we manage every aircraft with the same conservative judgment, attention to detail, and financial transparency we would expect for our own. Since 2013, that approach has helped Gateway Jets build long-term relationships with aircraft owners throughout the St. Louis region.
Eight responsibilities that come off your desk.
Trip planning & coordination
Flight planning, weather review, airport requirements, handling arrangements, catering, and ground transportation — coordinated from the initial request through departure.
Professional flight crews
Type-experienced, recurrent-trained pilots selected for consistency, professionalism, and familiarity with your aircraft. For owner-pilots operating single-pilot Citations, we can also provide structured mentorship and support.
Inspections & coordination
Maintenance tracking, inspection planning, squawk follow-up, and shop coordination with trusted regional partners, including West Star Aviation and factory-authorized service centers.
Detailing & cabin upkeep
Scheduled interior and exterior detailing, cabin stocking, and coordination of cosmetic upkeep — helping the aircraft remain clean, comfortable, and ready for its next trip.
Better fuel purchasing
We negotiate competitive base fuel rates, enroll aircraft in applicable contract-fuel programs, and compare fuel options while traveling to help control one of the largest variable operating expenses.
Fleet coverage & coordination
Qualifying aircraft that are professionally flown and managed by Gateway Jets may be eligible for our fleet insurance policy, subject to underwriting approval. This can provide competitive pricing while simplifying pilot approvals, training records, renewals, and ongoing policy coordination.
Organized aircraft documentation
Maintenance records, airworthiness-directive tracking, required documentation, and logbook organization — protecting the aircraft's operational history and long-term value.
Logs & operating visibility
Monthly flight logs and organized aircraft activity records, along with visibility into upcoming inspections, significant maintenance events, and operating needs.
Three steps from the first conversation to the first flight.
Understand the Mission
We start with how you fly, how you use the aircraft, what you expect from ownership, and where the current operation may be falling short. If you are still considering an aircraft, we can also help assess whether it fits the mission. If Gateway Jets is not the right fit, we will tell you.
Build the Operation
We review the records, establish the maintenance baseline, assign crews, coordinate insurance, enroll the aircraft in applicable fuel programs, and arrange hangar support. Most transitions can be completed within a few weeks, depending on the aircraft and its current operation.
Start Flying
You tell us where and when. We coordinate the crew, trip planning, maintenance status, services, and operational details that make the flight work. You arrive, and you fly.
Five standards behind every aircraft we manage.
The owner's interest comes first
Every recommendation, expense, and operational decision is approached as though the owner were standing beside us in the hangar. We do what is right for the aircraft and the owner, even when the easier answer would benefit us.
Clear answers, before surprises
Owners should understand what is being recommended, why it matters, and what it is expected to cost. We communicate directly, explain the options, and do not hide difficult news behind vague language.
Conservative judgment
Recurrent-trained crews, disciplined procedures, thoughtful risk management, and careful maintenance oversight. Schedule pressure never outranks a safe, airworthy operation.
The details owners notice
Familiar crews, remembered preferences, stocked cabins, and arrangements made before the owner arrives. The small details are not extras; they are part of managing the aircraft well.
Flight-department standards, personally delivered
Standardized procedures, consistent training, organized records, and dependable communication — the discipline of a professional flight department without unnecessary layers or bureaucracy.
Ready when you are.
One conversation is all it takes to see whether Gateway Jets is the right fit for your aircraft — and for you.
