Citation aircraft, managed by people who fly them.
Three aircraft families, one operating philosophy: deep familiarity leads to better planning, better decisions, and fewer surprises. These are the aircraft we manage and fly — and, through Citation Jet Exchange, help owners acquire and sell.
Citation Mustang
One of the most practical entry points into jet ownership. Certified for single-pilot operation and equipped with Garmin G1000 avionics, the Mustang turns regional drives into short flights and places destinations such as Kansas City, Chicago, Nashville, and the Florida Panhandle within practical reach from St. Louis.
For owner-pilots, it can be a natural first jet, and our team provides structured mentorship during the transition. For passengers, it delivers true jet capability with some of the most approachable ownership costs in the Citation family.

CitationJet / CJ Series
From the original CitationJet through the CJ1, M2, CJ2, CJ3, and CJ4, the 525 family has become a cornerstone of single-pilot business aviation. The series combines efficiency, strong factory support, practical performance, and aircraft suited to a wide range of budgets and missions.
A CJ2 places much of Florida, the East Coast, and the central United States within practical nonstop reach from St. Louis. Moving through the CJ3 and CJ4 adds speed, cabin capability, payload, and range. This is the Citation family our principal has flown since 2008 — and the one our team knows most deeply.

Citation Excel / XLS / XLS+
One of the defining midsize business jets of its era, and for good reason: a stand-up cabin, meaningful range and payload capability, and short-field performance that expands the number of airports available to owners.
The Excel family is a two-pilot operation, making crew consistency especially important. We provide type-experienced professionals who fly the aircraft regularly, understand its operating history, and become familiar with the owner's missions and preferences. Our team manages and flies Excel-series aircraft from both St. Louis Downtown Airport and Spirit of St. Louis Airport.

The Citation family remains our core focus because depth of experience matters. In select cases, Gateway Jets may support other turbine aircraft when the owner, mission, and operational requirements are a strong fit for our team.
Before committing to any aircraft, it is worth understanding not only what it can do, but what it will realistically require to own, crew, maintain, and operate.
Performance figures are approximate and vary by model, loading, weather, aircraft configuration, and operating conditions.
